Welcome to PlanetSide 2 on PS4!

Hey everyone,

Well, it’s hard to believe, but the launch of PlanetSide 2 on the Playstation 4 is finally upon us! Since we’re going to have a fairly diverse mix of existing beta players, as well as new players, I wanted to post some details on what to expect on launch day and the coming days/weeks.

First, we expect to open the European servers at approximately 4pm (GMT) and the North American servers 1pm (Pacific) on 6/23/15. It is likely that the game will appear in the PSN Store before the servers are unlocked. If this occurs, remain calm, because the game servers will be unavailable. That said, we’re trying to time the server accessibility as closely as possible with the PSN Store update. Existing beta players, you will just need to patch; no need to do a full reinstall. New players will obviously need to perform a full install from the PSN Store.

With regards to server availability, initially we will have 2 servers for each region; 2 for North America and 2 for Europe. We have several additional servers ready and will unlock them over the coming days.

The initial server names are:

North America

• Genudine
• Palos

Europe

• Ceres
• Lithcorp

Those of you familiar with the PC version of Planetside 2 know that we’re constantly adding new features and content. In the coming weeks, you can expect to see this level of support to be continued. Our first game update is expected to publish the week of the 29th and we plan to post the full release notes later this week here on the forums.

Finally, as a token of our gratitude for the Beta players who helped us over the past several months, they will receive the following items.

Everyone who participated in the Planetside 2 (PS4) Beta will receive:

• Vehicle Beta Decal
• Infantry Beta Decal
• Exterminator Title

Everyone that dedicated 25+ hours will receive the items listed above, plus the following:

• Analyst Helmet
• 1 Day XP Boost
• Electro Camo’s for NC, TR and VS

These items will be granted during our first game update and will only be available to the PS4 Beta players. Again, thank you all for your dedication and support of Planetside 2.
